Te Whare Māminga

Turn language learning into a digital escape room challenge. Ākonga design their own puzzle-filled escape rooms where players must use te reo Māori clues, riddles, and challenges to unlock each stage. Students practise communicating about numbers, time, weather, people, and everyday classroom language while building creative problem-solving skills. 

Through teamwork and digital design, learners create immersive games that bring language to life. This unit combines technology, collaboration, and reo Māori in a fast-paced and exciting learning experience.
