Te Reo Mataora
The Ministry of Health
A foundational programme designed to build confidence in te reo Māori through practical, everyday use. Learners develop pronunciation, basic sentence structures, and the ability to engage in simple kōrero with accuracy and cultural understanding.

Te Reo ki Tua
Bay of Plenty Regional Council
An intermediate pathway that extends language capability beyond the basics. This programme strengthens fluency, expands vocabulary, and deepens understanding of sentence patterns so learners can communicate with greater confidence and expression.
